Welcome! I’m the founder of Illuminate Aesthetics, a space where we can focus on enhancing your natural beauty (yes, we all have this!) and I can establish connections for long-term client care.
The Beginnings
Why I started Illuminate
Believe it or not, my interest in aesthetics began nearly 18 years ago! I originally wanted to pursue postgraduate study in the field, but back then the industry looked very different, and job opportunities were few and far between. So instead, I followed another passion and completed a postgraduate degree in Neonatal Intensive Care, an incredibly rewarding path where I was privileged to care for the surgical needs of our youngest population.
After years in nursing and raising my children, my passion for aesthetics never faded. With the support of my husband, I pursued cosmetic injectable training and launched Illuminate Aesthetics—where I now help clients feel confident and empowered through natural, subtle enhancements.

Prior Experience
What is my background?
I’ve been a qualified Registered Nurse for over 23 years and hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Curtin University, along with a Neonatal Intensive Care Certificate. My career has included working with NETSWA, where I trained nurses and transported critically ill newborns, and teaching a statewide newborn resuscitation program—helping give unresponsive babies the best possible start to life.
While my path has shifted, my commitment to care and learning has remained at the heart of everything I do. Since entering the aesthetics field, I’ve embraced ongoing education through a range of accredited training providers. This is an industry where you never stop learning. Every client is unique, and staying informed ensures I can tailor the best approach for each individual. I also regularly attend industry events to stay up to date on the latest research, techniques, and products available on the Australian market—always with my clients’ safety in mind.
While my path has shifted, my commitment to care and learning has remained at the heart of everything I do. I completed my training through the internationally recognised Derma Medical, gaining qualifications in both foundation and advanced cosmetic injectables. From there, I built on my skills with personalised 1:1 mentoring through Fresh Clinics—an Australian-owned provider of clinical education and support services, specialising in aesthetic medicine.
Since then, I’ve made ongoing education a priority. I regularly attend online training sessions, in-person demonstrations, and workshops hosted by pharmaceutical companies, along with further hands-on 1:1 training. In this ever-evolving industry, there’s always something new to learn—and every client brings a unique set of needs, which keeps me curious and committed to growth.
As a small, independent business, I genuinely care about you and the results we achieve together. I practise ethically, which means we focus on the most beneficial treatments for you—not the ones with the highest profit margin.
